Why an SVG is the best start
An SVG stores your logo as exact shapes, not dots, so the edges stay crisp at any size. It's the best file you can start from: if your designer can send one, ask for it.
A real SVG to TAP conversion

Getting the SVG ready
- Turn text into outlines before you save, so your letters keep their font.
- Crop the artboard to the logo, so the size comes out right.
- Check it's really vector. Zoom right in: if the edges go fuzzy, there's a picture inside the SVG.

A shop with more than one brand
A TAP and a DST hold the same stitch data, and DST is what most commercial machines read, current Happy models included. So the DST in your download also suits a Tajima, Barudan, SWF or ZSK, and one £5 download covers every machine in the shop. See SVG to DST.
SVG to TAP. FAQs
Can I convert an SVG to TAP?
Yes. Upload the SVG to Embify, check the sew-out preview, pick Happy as your machine and download.
Is a TAP the same as a DST?
It holds the same stitch data as a DST, without the DST's header. Current Happy machines read both; TAP is Happy's own format.
Is the SVG to TAP converter free?
The preview is free: digitizing your artwork and seeing the sew-out needs no card. Downloading the finished file is £5 as a one-off, or a monthly plan if you convert regularly.
