Choose EmbroideryStudio if
- you take paid digitizing work and need production tools;
- you need the full lettering library and hand control over every stitch;
- you work with other digitizers who send and expect EMB files.
Choose Hatch if
- you embroider at home and want to learn digitizing properly;
- you want Wilcom's way of working at a home price;
- you have a Windows computer, or are happy to run Parallels on a Mac.
Choose neither if
you need a clean machine file from a logo and do not want to learn digitizing at all. Embify does the digitizing for you in a browser and shows the sew-out first.

Which is easier to learn, Wilcom or Hatch?
Hatch. It is made for home users and has fewer production tools to learn.

Not natively. Hatch needs Windows 11; on a Mac it runs through Parallels.
Is Hatch Composer enough to digitize logos?
No. Composer has no hand digitizing. You need Hatch Digitizer for that.
